Layering works great in some situations but for just puttering around in the Midwest, it's often super cold outside and then folks keep the inside spaces overheated, so I like having a heavy parka and then just a shirt underneath. I was able to get one in orange (not a favorite color) for $100. New.

Ive been eyeing these hard since Drews first came out with them. One thing that you neglected to mention, but which is also a major advantage to purchasing these, is the lack of a lengthy production wait time. Drew's try to keep these stocked in standard sizes for the most part. With many of the PNW brands referenced, there are anywhere from 3 months, to potentially 24 month wait periods for this style and build quality of foot wear (Wesco is notorious for their lengthy wait periods). Typically these can be recieved in just a week or 2 in comparison. Great review. One sub earned.

I have to say the Filson looks to be the best fit of those three. The Target one looks too boxy and poorly constructed; the Iron Heart looks a bit tight and the shoulders in the back are bunching. While the Filson looks comfy. Of course I'm just going by 'look' on a small phone. Actual experience and personal preferences are the true judge.

I also am a fan of casio watches as well they are excellent watches i prefer the easy reader type, but i use digital as a sporty watch,I would rather wear the easy readers type any day of the week i give them a thumbs up 💯👍

I understand the concern but Liberty has since changed their policy and if a safe owner takes mitigating steps, the issue goes away. As usual, the public is overreacting. Liberty makes a decent line of safes manufactured here in the United States. So go buy your Chinese junk safes and get rid of yet another American company employing Americans because they made a mistake. Thinking of a compass: In the morning, the sun rises in the east. If you face east, north is to your left. In the afternoon if you face the direction the sun is setting, north will be on your right. Do you really need a watch to determine North?

Pro-tip: get super long laces and tie knots at the end so they can’t be pulled out. It’ll make taking off the books and re-lacing a super fast process. Tie any excess around the top of the shaft and you’re good to go!

Irish Setters don’t hold up more than a year for me anymore. I wear them everyday in mud,sand,water etc & keep them oiled. The liner of waterproof ones end up ripping out. The sole came unglued on last pair. If Red Wing makes a square toe western I’m done with Irish Setters. That being said the Irish Setters are very comfortable & would probably work well for light use not worn daily.

All nit picking nonsense. The only thing I can fault the Shaman on is the heavy blade stock makes it a little lacking as a slicer. Meaning slicing through things like cardboard.

I respect your opinion but I don’t understand the choil hitting your finger complaint. I am always flicking mine and when it does hit unless you’re smacking it with way too much force you can barely feel it. Secondly and even more importantly every compression lock you have to move your finger away before it closes to lock the blade back in place.

Please stop with the made in the USA stuff. Nothing worth the money is made in the USA. These only shop American made people should take a look in their own houses. Very little is made in America
